Area Service Committee (ASC)

  • Third Sunday of the month from 10:00am to 1:00pm
  • Mercy Hospital in the second floor small conference room

  • The Area Service Committee is a service body that meets the needs of the groups in an area. It is comprised of Group Service Representatives (GSR's), an executive committee (chair, vice-chair, secretary, treasurer and their alternates), and sub-committee chairs. The sub-committees offer specialized services that in one way or another help the groups.

Activities and Events Sub-Committee (A&E)

  • Third Wednesday of the month at 5:30PM**Permanent

  • The Activities and Events Sub-Committee (A&E) is a service body that meets the needs of the groups in an area by providing recovery functions to help further the message and organize recreation in recovery. Any member can attend and help.

Public Relations Sub-Committee (PR)

  • First Saturday of the month from 12:00pm to 1:00pm
  • Mercy Hospital in the second floor small conference room
  • 746 Jefferson Avenue, Scranton, Pa
  • The Public Relations Sub-Committee (PR) is a service body. If you want to volunteer come to the sub-committee meeting.

Hospitals and Institutions Sub-Committee (H&I)

  • First Saturday of the month from 1:00pm to 1:30pm
  • Mercy Hospital in the second floor small conference room
  • 746 Jefferson Avenue, Scranton, Pa
  • The Hospitals and Institutions Sub-Committee (H&I) is a service body that takes meetings to Hospitals, Rehabs, Detox, and Prisons. If you want to volunteer to chair or speak, come to the sub-committee meeting.

Literature Sub Committee and Policy Sub Committee

  • First Saturday of the month from 1:30pm to 2:00pm
  • Mercy Hospital in the second floor small conference room
  • 746 Jefferson Avenue, Scranton, Pa
  • Come and help out our sub-committees and be of service. Any addict that shows up at these sub-committees can suggest and vote on NA business
